Mining industry rejects Greens' bid for 'fracking' ban
Posted June 21, 2013 13:17:50 The South Australian Chamber of Mines and Energy has attacked an SA Greens' bill on coal seam gas (CSG) extraction as being "ill-conceived". The Greens want to ban CSG extraction through the process known as 'fracking' on farmland, residential land and conservation areas and have a two-year moratorium on it in other regions.
