China detains GlaxoSmithKline staff for fraud: reports
Chinese police detained employees of GlaxoSmithKline Plc in the cities of Beijing, Shanghai and Changsha after allegations of data fraud and bribery, the South China Morning Post reported today, citing an unidentified person from Shanghai's pharmaceutical sector. The official Xinhua News Agency reported yesterday that police in Changsha were investigating senior managers at the drugmaker's local unit for suspected involvement in "economic crimes."
